Medicare Home Health Billing --
MEDICARE ADVANTAGE

Webinar

Tuesday, February 25, 2020

10:00 am –  11:30 am CST **

** Recording available through 3/10/20

Medicare Advantage Plans may or may not have changes in 2020 in regard to PDGM. Medicare Advantage Plans that pay agencies episodically will eventually convert to RAPs and Finals being required every 30 days instead of 60.  This webinar will cover details regarding the actual billing changes that will need to occur under PDGM. This webinar will discuss the ins and outs of dealing with Medicare Advantage plans, including authorizations, codes for claims and dealing with intermediaries when trying to get paid by Medicare Advantage Plans.

Program Objectives:

  • Detail the changes to the billing process under PDGM for Medicare Advantage.
  • Detail the specifics of successfully collecting under the Medicare Advantage program.
  • Review the process from Intake through to billing for successful Medicare Advantage billing and collections.

Presenter:  Melinda A. Gaboury, with more than 27 years in home care, has over 17 years of executive speaking and educating experience, including extensive day to day interaction with home care and hospice professionals. She routinely conducts Home Care and Hospice Reimbursement Workshops and speaks at state association meetings throughout the country. Melinda has profound experience in Medicare PPS training, billing, collections, case-mix calculations, chart reviews and due diligence. ZPIC, RA, ADR & TPE appeals with all Medicare MACs have become the forefront of Melinda’s current impact on the industry. She is currently serving on the NAHC/HHFMA Advisory Board as ex-officio and is Associate Director on the Home Care Association of Florida Board of Directors. Melinda is also the author of the Home Health OASIS Guide to OASIS-D.
